Grosvenor House is a 4 star AA rated Guest House situated in a quiet but central location just behind Torre Abbey within easy walking distance to the beach town and Riviera Conference and leisure Centre. Grosvenor House is situated in a quiet but central location within easy walking distance to the beach town and Riviera Conference and leisure Centre. This Torquay Guest House is run by a Christian couple Nigel & Angela Pearce. We are here to ensure your stay in Torquay is an enjoyable one. In Grosvenor House we have a comfortable television lounge where you can relax and also a friendly bar lounge where you can enjoy a drink make new friends and tell us about the exciting day that you have had. If there is anything we can do to ensure your holiday is what you want then please ask. At Grosvenor House we offer a wide choice of menu at Breakfast to suit all tastes and requirements and in the evening we may be able to provide a full five course dinner with choice of starter main course and sweet we will always try to cater for special diets by arrangement. At Grosvenor House we now have spacious SUPERIOR ROOMS with either a luxury 6ft Superking size bed or 2 luxury 3ft Single beds these SUPERIOR rooms come with a larger digital TV hairdryer greater range of hot beverages etc. some can have a fold bed added for a child under 16. We also have double family and twin rooms also a single room all fully en suite and equipped with colour television and clock radios also for your convenience we provide complimentary facilities to make tea coffee and hot chocolate. We do not take accept any group bookings whether booked together or seperately (i.e. 3 or more people) except by prior arrangement. Should you book and be seen to be part of a group you will be refused entry and charged the full amount of your booking.
By road: - Follow the road from Newton Abbot and when you come to Torre station (by Halfords) turn right into Avenue Road, signposted for the seafront. - Continue to the 2nd set of traffic lights and turn sharply left. - Grosvenor House is half way along on the left-hand side. We have a car park for seven cars at the front of the Guest House. Torquay railway station is approximately 800 metres away. Torquay coach station is approximately one mile away. There are plenty of taxis waiting at the coach station.
