Four Star, Double Silver Award Winning Fairways is ideally situated on the flat and is close to the sea front.
There is easy access to facilities such as the Riviera Centre, Princess Theatre, Torquay''s Shopping Centre, the Harbour and the quaint, thatched village of Cockington. There is ample, free, car parking on site for all our guests and wireless internet access, is also free. We are open all year, including Christmas, for long or short breaks, weekly or mid-weekly bookings. We welcome couples, singles and those away from home on business. Rooms are available from 2pm on day of arrival, but if you plan to arrive before then let us know and we will do our best to make sure your room is ready. If you are travelling by train or coach we can collect you from the relative station if you let us know your planned arrival time in Torquay. In October 2008 we received the ''4 Star Silver Award'' by the Quality in Tourism Council. This is in recognition of the facilities we offer as well as the care and attention to detail that we extend to our guests and is the second consecutive year we have achieved this Standard. Access: From the flat car park there are two steps up into the entrance conservatory. We have two ground floor bedrooms (the Four Poster and a Family Room, which can be booked as a double), a double and a twin room are up a flight of 13 steps and two double bedrooms and a family bedroom are up a further flight of three steps. The dining room is a step down from the hallway.
By Car:
From Exeter:
- Take the M5.
- Exit to join the A38.
- Follow signs for Torquay A380.
- At Newton Abbot you will come to the Penn Inn roundabout, take the second exit, signposted Torquay A380.
- Continue straight across the next roundabout for the A3022 (do not turn right).
- Follow the A3022 until you have Torre Railway Station on your right and a sign on the wall in front saying 'Seafront, Harbour, Paignton'. You need to be in the right-hand lane.
- Immediately through the lights is Avenue Road. Fairways is on the right, immediately before the next set of lights.

Family Room

The quoted room rate is based on 3 people sharing, but these rooms can offer accommodation for up to 4 guests. <BR><BR>This light, airy room has been refurbished to a very high standard and is equipped with one double bed and a single bed.

Double Room

These light, airy rooms have all been refurbished to a very high standard.

Twin Room

This light, airy room is situated at the rear of the property. The room has been completely refurbished to a high standard. <BR><BR>There is another twin room, with a double bed and a single bed, which overlooks the front of the property.

Superior Four-Poster Room

This very large, ground floor room has floor-to-ceiling windows. <BR><BR>The room has been refurbished to a very high standard and incorporates a 19-inch flat-screen TV/DVD. A selection of DVDs is available for use, free of charge.

Ground Floor Superior Double Room

The room has been refurbished to a very high standard. It has a floor-to-ceiling window, a comfortable seating area and a 19-inch flat-screen TV/DVD player. There is a selection of DVDs for guests' use

Christmas Break - 3 Night Stay

Thursday 24th December: Check in from 2pm onwards where Traditional Lancashire afternoon tea awaits. Enjoy a Buck's Fizz drinks reception then onto a four course set dinner. Entertainment will be provided by Carol Singers. Visit to a local midnight mass. Coffee and mince pies will be served upon your return.<BR><BR>Friday 25th December: Full English breakfast will be served in Horatios's Restaurant. A Four course Christmas Day Lunch, followed by Christmas cake and refreshments from 3pm-5pm. Our Christmas Day gala buffet awaits you at dinner.<BR><BR>Saturday 26th December: Full English breakfast will be served in Horatio's Restaurant Traditional Lancashire Lunch. Farwell dinner followed<BR>by singing and dancing.<BR><BR>Sunday 27th December: Full English breakfast will be served in Horatio's Restaurant

New Year - 2 Night Stay

Wednesday 30th December: Check in from 2pm. Traditional Lancashire afternoon tea awaits you. This evening's candlelit dinner will be served in Horatio's restaurant with music and entertainment from 7pm.<BR><BR>Thursday 31st December: Reception welcome by a traditional Scots piper. Enjoy a selection of our chef's freshly prepared canap&eacute;s and a glass of sparkling bucks fizz. Dinner is served at 7:45pm then enjoy our resident<BR>cabaret until midnight. Afterwards our resident DJ will supply entertainment until 2am.<BR><BR>A Full English Buffet Breakfast will be available each morning in Horatio's Restaurant.
