The Chesterfield is a charming Victorian Guest House ideally situated in the heart of Torquay. We have 9 guest rooms consisting of family twin and double rooms. All are en suite with a shower and are tastefully furnished with co-ordinated decor to provide every comfort. We are ideally located being just a short walk from the Beach Princess Theatre Town and Riviera Conference Centre.So whether your visit is for business or pleasure the Chesterfield makes an ideal choice for your stay
The Chesterfield is situated in the heart of Torquay in the beautiful English Riviera. The building is a Victorian Town house built in the early 1800's and still retains many original features. Our family run guesthouse offers great value accommodation. All our guest rooms are en-suite with showers and are individually decorated to a high standard with co-ordinating furnishings for that true home from home feeling. We have a choice of double twin and family rooms all of which have Freeview TV hospitality tray hairdriers etc. All beds are made up with crisp white linen and for your comfort we also provide you with soft white towels and complimentary toiletries. Ironing facilities are available upon request. We offer both bed and breakfast and half board accommodation. In our bright and cheery dining room you will be served at your own individual table; in the mornings you can help yourself to fruit juice and a selection of cereal whilst waiting for your freshly cooked breakfast. A pot of tea or coffee and basket of toast with preserves will help to round off your breakfast and set you up for the day ahead; for those less hungry days you can try one of our lighter alternatives. Three course evening meals are also available however these must be pre-booked or booked by 10.30 am on the day they are required; we are also licensed to serve alcoholic beverages with your evening meal. Where possible all our food is local produce or locally sourced. The Chesterfield not only provides quality bed and breakfast we are also ideally situated for a day at the beach with the seafront just a short stroll away. Along the palm-lined promenade you will find the Princess Theatre Harbour Marina and a good choice of restaurants and eateries. We are also only a short walk to the Town Attractions and Riviera Conference Centre. Whether you are taking a short break a holiday or on business The Chesterfield is an ideal place to stay.
