Welcome to Charnwood! We are a cosy family run 7 bedroom Guest House in the heart of Torquay in Devon. With affordable good value for money prices special deals available for weekends Bank Holidays and extended stays we are close to Torquay town centre the Riviera Centre and beach and a short drive from Paignton and Brixham. Torquay Railway Station is a 10 minute walk or 2 minute cab ride away with the main Coach Station also only 5 minutes away by cab. We look forward to seeing you!
Welcome to Charnwood! A cosy 7 bedroom Guest House in the heart of Torquay in Devon. With affordable good value for money prices special deals available for weekends Bank Holidays and extended stays we are close to all the facilities of Torquay as well as the Riviera Centre and beach and a short drive from Paignton and Brixham. Torquay Railway Station is a 10 minute walk or 2 minute cab ride away with the main coach station also only 5 minutes away by cab. (Taxis in Torquay are cheaper than you may be used to - a typical journey from us into town usually costs less than ?4.50). All our rooms have Central Heating Tea and Coffee making facilities and Freeview Colour TV. We have 3 large family rooms available sleeping 3 or 4 people as well as doubles and 1 single so we can probably accommodate your needs. We want you to enjoy you stay with us and to that end we ensure that rooms are clean and fresh for you and that breakfast is cooked freshly to order - not in advance and held indefinitely. Although we supply a full English breakfast within the cost of your stay you can opt for a light continental or just tea and toast if you wish - we'll do our best to get you what you want. If you require an evening meal this is available at extra cost but please be sure to advise us when booking. We have an entry system that allows you to access your room all day and night - unlike some establishments we do not operate a curfew!
Follow signs to Torquay along the coast road you will eventually come to traffic lights at the Grand Hotel (on your left) and Torquay station. Turn left into Rathmore Road up to another set of lights ?straight across into Falkland Road and up the hill for 200 yards turn left into Bridge Road. About 100 yards down is a junction turn right into Bampfylde Road and go up the road about 100 yards to the top of the hill and park by the Church on the left and we are directly opposite.
